How to support children to transition from screens
Transitioning children from screen time to other activities is not always easy. Here are three things you can do to support them.

Holy Family Outside School Hours Care is located in the Parish Hall within the grounds of Holy Family Primary School, Indooroopilly. Our service cares for 59 children from prep to grade six in before and after school care.
Our service works closely with the parish and school to ensure children are happy and safe. Our activity program reflects and values the importance of play in childhood. Experiences are created to support children’s social, emotional and life skill development.
Children are encouraged to grow and develop in a safe, caring and supportive environment where friendship, cooperation and mutual respect are encouraged. Our service provides opportunities for children to engage in self initiated and spontaneous play through resources and equipment made available to them. Our children have significant input into the program and staff use children’s ideas, abilities, interests and needs to create daily experiences.
