A new teacher and group of excited children for St Mary's Kindergarten in 2025.
We are pleased to announce the opening of Notre Dame Outside School Hours Care, at the Sunshine Coast’s newest school, Notre Dame College at Bells Creek.
We are pleased to announce the opening of Notre Dame Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), on the grounds of Sunshine Coast’s newest school, Notre Dame College at Bells Creek.
Located within the fast-growing Aura Stockland community, the new OSHC supports working families in the region, providing high-quality care for children before school, after school and during school holidays.
Catholic Early EdCare Director Chris Lugg expressed his excitement about partnering with the growing Bells Creek community to give children the opportunity to grow and extend on the learning opportunities they have in school.
“Our educators work with all children to create fun and recreational experiences that support children’s wellbeing, learning and personal development in line with the My Time, Our Place framework for school aged care in Australia,” said Mr Lugg.
He highlighted the importance of collaboration in shaping the OSHC program. “Our commitment to continuous improvement means we actively seek feedback from families and children to create engaging and meaningful programs, in line with the needs and interests of each child.”
Notre Dame College Principal Dan McShea was very welcoming of the OSHC program, highlighting the enriching activities designed to support children’s development and learning beyond the classroom.
For nearly 20 years, Catholic Early EdCare has provided OSHC services across South East Queensland, supporting primary school-aged children up to 12 years old at more than 100 locations. Eligible families may also apply for the Australian Child Care Subsidy to assist with the cost of care, with assessments available through Centrelink. Notre Dame OSHC operates before school from 6:30 am to 8:30 am, including breakfast, and after school from 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm, with snacks provided.
